guide to submitting an abstract
The Program Committee invites abstract submissions in prostate cancer research and the delivery of care for prostate cancer patients for admission into the Asia-Pacific Prostate Cancer Conference Program for 2019.
Submissions will be for the following streams - Clinical Urology, Translational Science and Nursing & Allied Health.
Abstracts must be presented in English and be a piece of original work. Encore or previously presented abstracts will not be accepted.
The title should be brief and explicit.
Your abstract should include the Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
The abstract should be no more than 300 words. Tables, diagrams, graphs etc CANNOT be accepted in the abstract submission.
A 50 word CV is required and may be used to facilitate an introductions.
Authors who select the Poster Only submission category will not be required to prepare an oral presentation for the Moderated Poster Presentation.
Abstracts accepted for Moderated Poster presentations will be offered the opportunity to present their poster in stream moderated poster sessions throughout the Conference. You will be required to develop 3 - 4 PowerPoint slides and present approximately for 5 minutes.
All accepted abstracts will be required to prepare eposter based on a template. The eposters will be displayed in the exhibition area for the duration of the Conference (Saturday 24 - Monday 26 August 2019). A link to the eposter template will be provided with the acceptance notification and will need to be uploaded by no later than Monday 29th of July.
Abstracts submitted for presentation will be published exactly as submitted. All submissions should be checked for accuracy and misspelling prior to submission. Abstracts will be available on the APCC 2019 Conference App.
AUTHORS MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE.
The submitting author of an abstract will ALWAYS receive email
confirmation of receipt of the abstract into the submission site.
If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours it may
mean the abstract has not been received. In this circumstance,
please email firstname.lastname@example.org to determine why an email
confirmation has not been received.
The Program Committee will only communicate via email with the nominated contact for the abstract submission therefore,
it is imperative that the details given in the address for correspondence section are accurate.
It is expected that the contact person will communicate the outcome of the abstract submission with all authors.
Monetary prizes will be awarded to the best abstract in the following categories.

- Translational Science
- Nursing & Allied Health
